βTriumFit Transparencyβ where we talk progress and problems:
β
Tylerβs progress towards his 2025 TriumFit growth goals:
A) 5 of 100 challenge sign ups (no change since last newsletter)
B) 73 of 1,000 newsletter subscribers (+1 since last newsletter, YAY THANK YOU MICHE!!!)
β
Tyler's problems to overcome:
A) I am working on a "members area" through ThriveCart that comes with a purchase of the Charity Challenge bundle...It would be a 2-4x a year comprehensive fitness test with private Youtube tutorials and it would give you a "TFC Scorecard." A way to track your fitness through challenges and training plans. Would you be incentivized with that?
I was stuck this week thinking WHY WOULD SOMEONE PAY $297 to do all 7 charity challenges (that's the discounted bundle price). People are not motivated enough by the charity aspect of TriumFit. People ultimately only care WHAT THEY GET OUT OF IT. So that prompted the idea of a private portal area. I'm open to community ideas of what it would take to get you to pull the trigger though.
B) Finding a group of creators that want to hold each other accountable and grow together. Direct messaging on Instagram and Threads isn't returning anything. I need to find people who will help repost content from TriumFit to their platform and theirs to mine, in order to "audience swap" and get exposure to more people.
C) I guess it is harder to go viral than I thought. These "Burpee Poker" challenges are fun though. But I totally thought if I tagged a few random celebrities and pit their audiences against each other in a competition to raise money, it would be off to the races. But I guess my brother was right. However, I am going to keep tweaking it every week until it hits. Here is last weeks example...Jeans and Burpees poker anyone?

In this episode we have...
1) Atmaram getting a run in Tokyo, this makes me very jelly. But I am planning on going to Japan in Sept/October, so it's next on the list!
2) Joey Malloque set a PR in a half-marathon. Honestly 7:36 is cruising. I have my first official 1/2 marathon on the 8th. Just hitting it as a fun run with some F3 guys, but anything under 1:45 or an 8 minute mile is the goal!
3) Christopher did a tempo run with "Zorro." I hope that is a dog, and not indeed Antonio Banderas...
4) Bill Le did a run workout for his Birthday. That is some shiz I would pull, no rest days there I guess!
5) Amy got an EPIC hike in, look at that mountain, that is crazy! Tatra national park, I have to Google that immediately. Bad news guys, it's in Slovakia, that is VERY far away.
6) Sabrina...as always Sabrina is ripping skin off her hands. I can't believe she has never heard of weight lifting gloves yet! Brutal, but hilarious at the same time.
β
That is all I could find, if you see someone running out in the wild, make sure to give them some kudos and refer them to my newsletter ;)
β
"The People's Poll" TriumFit's random queries to the community:
β
This segment was inspired by a previous project of mine: "Tyler Talks to Strangers," where I would interview random people on the street. Fun times. But my curiosity is endless, so now I get to query YOU!
β
Last weeks poll was a tough one, clearly. Remember to head over to either the Facebook group here or the Instagram page here, to vote!
Honestly, that is too close to call. I am going to have to be the breaking vote.
Pros of being a dragon:
A) I think you live ridiculously long
B) You breath fire and fly
C) B needs to be recognized again
D) I think you guard treasure, it comes with the gig
β
Cons:
A) You will be hunted your entire life by poachers (probably)
B) I don't want to guard treasure. I want to spend treasure. Usually on cheesecake...
β
Pros of having a pet dragon:
A) Nobody can mess with you (it's infinitely better than having an older brother, like I did growing up)
B) You still get the side perk of flying, kinda
C) You can still do human things, like eat cheesecake
β
Cons:
A) No breathing fire
B) That is enough.
β
FINAL DECISION:
I WOULD WANT TO BE A DRAGON!
On the real, I would rather be Blastoise than a Charizard though, he was always my guy (shoutout red version Pokemon).
"Tyler's TriumFit Tuesday Tip" where I share some wisdom:
β
#18 Surround yourself with people who are A) smarter than you, or B) those that think differently. Do not trust that YOUR view is always correct. We are always biased, get multiple opinions.
β
"Clear the Calendar" where we look forward to the next challenge:
β
The next challenge is "Bringer of the Bells," TriumFit's Cesar Chavez Tribute.
Last year I walked 106 lbs of kettlebells all of 2.8 miles. It was epic. It was fun. It hurt. It was sunny skies. It was all the things I love. This one was special because some of the "Meaningful Conversations" group in Tacoma came out to support. One of the first times I was like hmmmm, maybe more people could be in to this type of thing...
β
The window to complete it this challenge is March 24th through April 7th.
βHere is the Facebook group to confirm attendance!β
Per Stephanie (my unofficial, official agent, who is also trying to get me on "Love Island"...long story) said I need to promote more TFC Events as IN PERSON hangs
So to that end, I will be committing to do the "Bringer of the Bells" on Sunday March 30th proper, at 2:30 pm. If you are in the Seattle-Tacoma area, make the trek out! We can get beers after and talk about life. I did it at the Chambers Bay Labyrinth last year, and it was perfect! I am doing it again there in 2025.
β
Location: Chambers Bay Labyrinth
(Chambers Creek Rd W, University Place, WA 98467)
Time: 3/30/25 at ~2:30 pm
What to bring: dumbbells, kettlebells, a hex bar with weights, or any odd object that weighs roughly 1/4 (silver division) to 1/2 (gold division) your bodyweight.
