TriumFit Tues News #22πŸ†

Count down to 2025-01-28T01:00:00.000Z

What's good Reader,

Referral Reward: Refer "TriumFit Tues News" to just 2 friends and I will give you a free TFC training plan of your choice ($20-35 value). Simply forward this email to 2 fitness freaks you know (or my newsletter profile page), screenshot the proof and send it to TriumFitChallenge@gmail.com. BOOM.

Now you have a proper training plan and the body you want with your swagger back.

My company is built around challenges.

Physical challenges.

But also mental challenges.

Because you cannot easily separate the mind from the body.

In this newsletter I promised you behind the scenes access to the "Chief Challenge Officer" (me)

Noah Kagan's book "Million Dollar Weekend" (MDW) has been a revelation for me.

It stirred a deep entrepreneurial drive I haven't felt before.

What better way to document my OWN journey, than by doing his 34-step business challenge checklist. (see how meta this is?)

This will be my accountability to you, dear reader, to show you how the plane is built... in mid air.

Finger's crossed this isn't a Boeing 737, and the doors actually stay on the whole time.

But if they don't, I'm going down with the ship, as your loyal captain.

This week MDW challenge is to find my ideal customer.

This is who ChatGPT thought I should target. Do you think it's accurate?

Who is the Ideal Customer for TriumFit Challenge?

βœ… Location:
- Urban & Suburban Areas (People who have access to gyms, outdoor training spots, and a strong fitness community.)

Why Does This Matter?

When marketing TriumFit Challenge, my messaging should always speak directly to this customer avatar:

πŸ’ β€œHey Mike, you’re already pushing your limits in the gymβ€”but what if you trained for something bigger? That’s why I created TriumFit Challengeβ€”where every workout is a mission, and every challenge has a purpose.”

Have you seen my latest "this is my Story" video? I'm pretty proud with the final edit:

This is why I created TriumFit, in 78 seconds.

"TriumFit Transparency" where we talk progress and problems:

Tyler's progress towards his 2025 TriumFit growth goals:

  1. 5 of 100 challenge sign ups (no change since last newsletter)
  2. 72 of 1,000 newsletter subscribers (no change since last newsletter)

Tyler's problems to overcome:

I guess getting your sole business payment processor to shut you down is a little bit of a problem (shrug/cry emoji)...

So, what do I do? Challenge the decision obviously. Switch to PayPal...Profit?

But seriously. I took down the sweepstakes, changed my website, and then they hit me with this?

What?

I literally complied with every request they made.

It is currently under review again.

Anyway, everything is FULLY FUNCTIONAL on my ThriveCart store, the payment processor is Paypal now. So ultimately it is fine.

Switching to Paypal was a necessary step anyway, because I plan to roll out an "affiliate marketing" strategy for TriumFit soon, which means I send an affiliate link to influencers in the fitness space, and if they get people to sign up via that link, they get a % of the sales.

The only way to pay out the affiliates is via Paypal, so I was going to have to do that eventually.

But it is kinda funny being prosecuted like I'm a cartel boss, considering my mission with TriumFit (fitness + philanthropy), lol.

What I am learning about myself through this entrepreneurial endeavor is what the difference between being a HIGH AGENCY, and LOW AGENCY person does for you.

You are allowed to panic. But put a time cap on it. 1 hour, that is all you get per week.

When that 1 hour time is up it is time to THINK OF SOLUTIONS, there is always something you can do to progress in the face of adversity.

This was just the price of admission for pushing a boundary.

Turns out the sweepstakes was a dead-end, but there are plenty of other ways to "gamify" fitness, I have a ton of them locked and loaded...

Come at me world.

"Tyler's TriumFit Tuesday Tip" where I share some wisdom:

#17 The ability to admit you were wrong, or change your opinion on a topic are two signs you actually reached adulthood.

"Warriors of the Week" TriumFit's highlight of the TFC community:

Follow me on Strava if you want to get your week of "Sweat-Efforts" praised in a future TuesNewsletter! Click here ---> Ty from TriumFit

Justin had a nice and easy evening run, look at that beautiful snowy house!

Howard was enjoying some quality time...if you consider quality time "renegade rows"...the man is insane

Annie was getting a yoga flow in to calm the mind

Alex was swimming, per usual in San Diego (I think he is in prep for a 1/2 Ironman next)

Tony was hitting a garage lift, looks like an IDEAL set up there, congrats

Andrea was playing in the snow. Can confirm, it has been colddd in WA lately.

Austin should race Alex apparently. He swam 3,000 meters at a 1:31 pace. My zone 2 pace was ~2:00 per 100 yards back in the Ironman days. Nice work Austin!

Charles was doing some Alpine skiing. I don't know much about skiing, but 27,000 feet of vertical sounds intense...

That's what I could find this week. Remember to give kudos to your fellow training buddies knocking it out this week!

"The People's Poll" TriumFit's random queries to the community:

This segment was inspired by one of my past podcast endeavors: "Tyler Talks to Strangers" where I would interview random people on the street...lol

Anyway, the community has spoken...I guess regrets were had.

Initially I thought a "copy-paste" button would be pretty cool for mass producing gold or something, but I guess it would make inflation run a muck, so maybe not. What would you copy?

Actually, on second thought I think the correct answer is cheesecake. Always cheesecake.

This weeks poll is going to be:

"Clear the Calendar" where we look forward to the next challenge:

The "Stars and Stripes" Instagram LIVE Fitness Contest is still happening!

However, there is no raffle/sweepstakes/gambling/payment/etc.

I will be doing the challenge LIVE (on the 19th about ~4 pm pacific time).

You can submit guesses to my time in the comments section (FREE obviously).

Whoever is closest will get a free credit to a future TFC Challenge ($50 value).

That can't be illegal, can it? lol

Also, side quest opportunity:

SIDE QUEST: anyone who also FILMS themselves (Instagram reel or story) completing the challenge (50 star jumps and 13 clap pushups) FASTER than me, also gets a free TFC Charity Challenge entry! Just tag TFC in your video

Watch it on my Instagram here: this WEDNSDAY

p.s. If you registered for a TFC event, make sure you're on the official entry list for charity challenges below.

p.p.s. I love you. Let's set up a time to walk and talk. Like on the phone. Using our phones...as phones. Wut.
