βTriumFit Transparencyβ where we talk progress and problems:
β
Tylerβs progress towards his 2025 TriumFit growth goals:
A) 14 of 100 challenge sign ups (no change since last newsletter)
B) 78 of 1,000 newsletter subscribers (no change since last newsletter)
β
Talked about a partnership of sorts with "Freedom Ops" company, who has a very well aligned mission as TriumFit. Find there website here: https://freedom-ops.fit/β
Danny Stokes who is the main mover behind Freedom Ops has done 2 of my challenges, he is another F3 member. So I offered the participants of his events a free TFC credit to any of my challenges. Hopefully that is a value add to both companies!
I need to find more collaborations like this to get higher TFC numbers, so if you know anyone in the fitness space, I'm here for it.
β
Tyler's problems to overcome:
A) Figuring out how to order TriumFit shirts now that I got a hot new logo. Do I need to hold inventory? Should I do pre-sales? How does this work? How many do I need, and sizes???
B) Establishing Affiliates with local Crossfit gyms. I was talking to a friend, and he said that should be my first go to. Because they already have established communities around doing "hard things" and they would be the most likely to participate. I should draw out a map of all the Crossfit gyms and make some connections there. Also, probably easier to break into than the big corporate behemoths like 24 hour fitness and such...
Here is my hot new logo:
Soon to be on a T-shirt NEAR YOU!
(Not actually near you, but hopefully ON you)

In this episode we have...
1) Branden had a nice run with some Bald Eagles! That is another reason I love living in Washington. I feel so damn American everyday running around American Lake on base and seeing Bald Eagles flying above me. It just doesn't get more 'Murica then that. Unless I had diabetes, then that's pretty much the full picture.
2) Rob sadly LOST TO ME in the Pearl Foundation 5k. The guy just can't win. Kidding. It was fun and I got 2nd place, so I lost as well, damn Gordito! These guys are part of my F3 crew so I love em all, good group. Props Rob, he set a PR, but not his lifetime goal of sub 20 mins, but he is VERY CLOSE!
3) Cheree said something about a "hobo adventure" on her Strava, so I had to include it here. I have so many questions. But also, I don't want to know any answers...
4) Charles went to Horse Lake Preserve. I am not convinced that isn't heaven. I don't care what you tell me. +1 for the awesome dog.
5) Aaron is another F3 connection. He has been Q-ing (leading) a biiiig group out in Maple Valley. Amtrak is his group name. We all have group names. I'm "Flying V," in reference to Mighty Ducks. No, it's not a cult...I swear.
6) Justin did a bike ride en-route to training for a triathalon. I think he is trying for a full soon. He almost did it in 2023, but he fell off his damn bike and broke every bone in his body. By every bone, I mean his collarbone. But still, I bet it felt like that at the time...

Good work gang! Remember to give some Kudos to the brothers and sisters out there GRINDING!

"The People's Poll" TriumFit's random queries to the community:
This segment was inspired by a previous project of mine: "Tyler Talks to Strangers," where I would interview random people on the street. Fun times. But my curiosity is endless, so now I get to query YOU!
β
This weeks poll was...
Would you rather sleep with a wet pillow every night, or walk around in wet socks every day? (diabolical one, I know)
β
β
This is a hard call for me. However, I don't want "Trench Foot" though, so final answer is WET PILLOW for me dawg. It might moisturize my face too. Side perk!

"Tyler's TriumFit Tuesday Tip" where I share some wisdom:

#22 Remember people's names. Stop saying you are bad at that. Small details matter.

I already memorized my speech:
"WE WILL FIGHT ON THE BEACHES" from Winston Churchill.
It is epic.
Here is the part I got down! (~112 words)
β
"Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."
β
