"Tyler's TriumFit Tuesday Tip" where I share some wisdom:
#15 Expensive schools means less than the networks you build at those schools.
Everyone wants to go to Harvard. That is great. But if you are in your dorm the entire time studying and neglecting the people around you, it may not pan out in the long run. Social capital matters in life. Talk to strangers, create an alumni network, be that dude!

This week we have 6 warriors:
Chris Hutton did a badass alpine ski run. 25 miles, I have no idea how hard that is. Gary do you know? But I will assume hard.
Cheree did a nice chill doggo walk around the block. Those are some long leashes!
Kyle Mills did a clean 6 miles. He's my cousin and I know its cold in MI perpetually, so that is an effort.
Kohl did a moon walk. Both literally and figuratively. I liked his comment "beautiful morning to be alive and outside" that level of gratitude will get him far fersure.
Timmy appropriately ran to get breakfast? Easy to do when you last name is HAM!
Sabrina went for a swim in open water I believe. My hands do that exact same thing! Lowkey I think its "Reynaud's," but ask a doc! haha. Way to embrace the cold
β
"The People's Poll" TriumFit's random queries to the community:
In last weeks Poll it seems as though only Brett was interested in playing along. And turns out he thinks making other people vomit is pretty lame. Well played Brett (Derice), well played.

I think this weeks question will be...a would you rather

"TriumFit Transparency" where we talk progress and problems:
β
Tyler's progress towards his 2025 TriumFit growth goals:
- 5 of 100 challenge sign ups
- 72 of 1,000 newsletter subscribers
Problems:
- Getting ghosted after pitching people on collaboration opportunities on IG. Just gotta crack a few people that see the bigger picture here...
- My knees are probably donezo because by the time this goes out I will have completed the MLK Jr. Tribute 54 miler. (UPDATE) knees ain't that bad! See my earlier wisdom from a newsletter "nothing good happens after 10 miles" 100% saved me. Doing 5 sets of 10 miles made all the difference, my body didn't even realize what was happening!
β
"Clear the Calendar" where we look forward to the next challenge:
β
βClick here to find the event pageβ
"Selma to Montgomery" is the first challenge of 2025 and your first shot at a GOLD CHALLENGE COIN, which will be given to your FOR FREE upon completion of the challenge (Full/Outdoor version) if you are one of the first 10 to tackle it.
I am actually doing SILVER CHALLENGE COINS as well, so you will be given a FREE silver coin if you complete the (Modified/Indoor version), if you are one of the first 10.
Full = 54 miles in 54 hours (walk/run)
Modified = 54 mile bike/cycle in under 5.4 hours
MLK really summed it up best with the line:
βIf you canβt fly, then run. If you canβt run, then walk. If you canβt walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving.β - Martin Luther King Jr.
Even if you donβt finish the exact miles, itβs about more than just the miles, you can still find your personal limit, and thatβs what TFC is all about.
