TriumFit Tues News # 11πŸ†

Count down to 2025-01-01T01:00:00.000Z

What's good Reader,

My company is built around challenges.

Physical challenges.

But also mental challenges.

Because you cannot easily separate the mind from the body.

In this newsletter I promised you behind the scenes access to the "Chief Challenge Officer" (me)

Noah Kagan's book "Million Dollar Weekend" (MDW) has been my book of the year so far. It stirred a deep entrepreneurial drive I haven't felt before.

What better way to document my OWN journey, than by doing his 34-step business challenge checklist. (see how meta this is?)

This will be my accountability to you, dear reader, to show you how the plane is built... in mid air.

Finger's crossed this isn't a Boeing 737, and the doors actually stay on the whole time.

But if they don't, I'm going down with the ship, as your loyal captain.

This week MDW challenge is to make a simple landing page to test for pre-orders and and ads.

So this is what I have so far https://gymescaperoom.divhunt.us/

Honestly, it is complete trash. I used GoDaddy's website builder for TriumFitChallenge.com and it was WAY more intuitive for me.

Then I bought this DivHunt web builder from App Sumo and despite it supposedly being "plug and play" my lord I am lost trying to build out Gym Escape.

So are there are website wizards out there who can recommend a good avenue to build this out better? I suppose I can go to Fiverr as well and try there, unless someone in the TFC has skills with that sort of thing.

Anyway, that was the task, so I will finish up the Pitch deck powerpoint and walk into a couple gyms before the next newsletter goes live to see if there are any partnership opportunities to make this HAPPEN!

"Tyler's TriumFit Tuesday Tip:"

At any given time you should maintain: 1) a musical hobby, 2) a creative hobby and 3) a hobby that can make you money one day

for me that would be 1) ukulele, 2) spoken word poetry, 3) podcasting

"Warriors of the Week" TriumFit's highlight of the TFC community:

I finished my YouTube video of the 911 Tower Challenge. Excited to be able to collaborate on the project with my pops and get some of his memories of that day. That is something we don't think to do enough (interview our loved ones).

There's actually a great YouTube video about a company called Story Corps where that is their whole schtick. Sitting and recording an interview with the people you love the most, to pass down to younger generations. So hopefully if I have kids one day they can understand what 9/11 was like for their grandfather and have that on tape because of this project.

One of my favorite Community 911 Tower Challenges came from my boy Jordan Spradlin who did his in 117 degree HEAT IN KUWAIT! WHAT THE. The man's a total animal (probably a camel). So TFC is OFFICIALLY A GLOBAL CHALLENGE, lets goooooo.

"TriumFit Transparency" where we talk projects and problems:

Projects:

  1. By next newsletter I WILL HAVE my ThriveCart store up for my E-book and my Training plans (bronze/silver/gold) on my website. If I don't you can personally hurt me.
  2. Finding a location for the Veteran's Day "Trench Warfare" Challenge

Problems:

  1. Building up the courage to PITCH GYMS IN PERSON on Gym Escape...C'mon T
  2. Finding something I can offer to people signing up for the TriumFit holiday challenge bundle ($325 is probably a lot to ask, even if it's for a good cause), any ideas? Maybe they get the TFC training plans free?

"Clear the Calendar" where we look forward to the next challenge:

"Trench Warfare" for Veteran's Day
