TriumFit Tues News #16πŸ†

Count down to 2025-01-28T01:00:00.000Z

What's good Reader,

My company is built around challenges.

Physical challenges.

But also mental challenges.

Because you cannot easily separate the mind from the body.

In this newsletter I promised you behind the scenes access to the "Chief Challenge Officer" (me)

Noah Kagan's book "Million Dollar Weekend" (MDW) has been my book of the year so far. It stirred a deep entrepreneurial drive I haven't felt before.

What better way to document my OWN journey, than by doing his 34-step business challenge checklist. (see how meta this is?)

This will be my accountability to you, dear reader, to show you how the plane is built... in mid air.

Finger's crossed this isn't a Boeing 737, and the doors actually stay on the whole time.

But if they don't, I'm going down with the ship, as your loyal captain.

This week MDW challenge is to "build a simple landing page" to increase email subscriptions.

Check out the page I made this week below.

Hyrox and "hybrid training" are my favorite forms of fitness. I am definitely an aspiring "Jack of all trades," and absolutely a "Master of none." But I am ok with that. I realized a while ago that I don't have the genetics to be top 0.001% or the BEST in ANYTHING. So I might as well get AVERAGE at ALOT of things! More fun to me that way, anyway.

Hoping to ride that wave of the fitness industry and get some people to sign up for the TFC Tues Newsletter because of it!

TriumFit Challenge Coins:

Yoooo, so here is some initial ideas from ChatGPT and my brother Ryan. We are going to finalize these designs in the next month and have them ready for the 2025 challenge calendar year.

If you are good with graphic design and want to submit your own ideas that would be EPIC. I will grant you free entry into any event if we select your design.

I will fund the initial purchase of coins (~$700). I want them to be large (2+ inches, reeded edges, etc) and GOLD.

There will only be 25 Golden TFC Challenge Coins ever made, in honor of 2025 being the first FULL year of TriumFit. That is 25 gold coins for each of the 7 challenges, or 175 total. They will be shipped to you for free upon upon completion of the challenge.

Then SILVER editions of each challenge coin will be available for PURCHASE on the TriumFitChallenge.com website. Hence, why it is better to get the Gold limited edition next year, because there is no additional cost to you.

"Tyler's TriumFit Tuesday Tip" where I share some wisdom:

#12 Never underestimate the power of a targeted compliment. It is probably the best ice breaker to talk to someone in public.

Also, a random un-fun-fact is that MEN rarely receive compliments, on the orders of weeks to months for a single positive thing said about them. So shock someone today by bucking that trend!

"Warriors of the Week" TriumFit's highlight of the TFC community:

Jordan Spradlin, a true American Hero (he is in Kuwait as an active duty Army Physio) bought the TFC Silver Training plan this week (links at the bottom of this email). The dude is a total unit, and I'm really excited to see how his training progresses on it. He is going to come back absolutely jacked from his time in the desert.

In other Strava-Stalking news,

Isaiah went for a nice run

Gary (my rad uncle) ate too much pie and then biked in the shape of a boot for some reason. Honestly, who doesn't over eat on Thanksgiving, shoutout to my pecan gang gang ride or die.

Taylor got swole with this lady Jess Sims, who looks like a total bae

Justin did a nice Crossfit session with my favorite squat variation of all time (front squats)

p.s. remember to follow me on Strava if you want me to highlight your week in fitness!

"The People's Poll" TriumFit's random queries to the community:

Last week was a referendum on the TFC communities favorite way to SPRINT.

I have been doing a daily sprint HIIT challenge for the past 40+ days after watching a video of a man doing 1,000 straight Murph workouts (that's our TFC Memorial Day Event by the way), so I was curious about yall. Here's the results...

I personally voted for the Ski Erg, but we have a clear winner, the ECHO BIKE. I personally have seen Jesus more times on the Echo bike that I would like to admit, so I was a bit shocked. It isn't for the faint of heart. But I respect it.

The voting is going to take place exclusively on the Facebook page from now on, I am trying to build that group up a bit, so head over there to vote on this next poll.

The poll this week is going to be:

Which event would you want to win a Gold medal (or 1st place) in?

1) Crossfit Games

2) Hyrox

3) Strongman Competition

4) Olympic Weightlifting

5) Ironman World Championships

6) Decathalon

7) Other

"TriumFit Transparency" where we talk progress and problems:

Progress:

  1. I learned how to organize my "highlights" on my Instagram, so every story has its place and I added a "Store" section so people can purchase training plans directly off a link on my IG
  2. I enlisted my brother to work on some coin designs for the TFC charity challenges for next year (see above)
  3. I reached out to DAVID GOGGINS about a collaboration of the "Selma to Montgomery" challenge. He is a psychopath, but I also love Goggins in many ways for his ability to turn his mind into his playground. That would be a dream collab fersure.
  4. I created "Certificates of Triumph" for the events for next year! e.g.

Problems:

  1. I have gotten almost no responses back so far to get the corporate competitions going for next year. Cold outreach/DM's are pretty weak I know. If anyone here works for a larger organization or any organization that has a budget for employee wellness type of events, that is my target market. If you have an HR managers email address, I WOULD LOVE IT if you put me in contact with them.
  2. I need to figure out how to make affiliate links on ThriveCart so I can cross promote with other influencers, I think that would help build the TFC Brand

"Clear the Calendar" where we look forward to the next challenge:

https://www.facebook.com/events/1094272222222236/

Check out the "Selma to Montgomery" FB Event page. This is the first challenge of 2025 and your first shot at a limited edition GOLD CHALLENGE COIN, which will be given to your FOR FREE upon completion of the challenge. This is going to cost me ~$700, but I think it is cool, so I'm down.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a total G, let's remember his legacy by "marching" past our own physical limits. 54 miles sounds brutal, it is, but we all have to start somewhere.

He really summed it up best with the line:

"If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving." - Martin Luther King Jr.

Even if you don't finish the 54 miles in 54 hours, you can still find your personal limit, and that's what TFC is all about.
