My company is built around challenges.
Physical challenges.
But also mental challenges.
Because you cannot easily separate the mind from the body.
In this newsletter I promised you behind the scenes access to the "Chief Challenge Officer" (me)
Noah Kagan's book "Million Dollar Weekend" (MDW) has been my book of the year so far. It stirred a deep entrepreneurial drive I haven't felt before.
What better way to document my OWN journey, than by doing his 34-step business challenge checklist. (see how meta this is?)
This will be my accountability to you, dear reader, to show you how the plane is built... in mid air.
Finger's crossed this isn't a Boeing 737, and the doors actually stay on the whole time.
But if they don't, I'm going down with the ship, as your loyal captain.

This week MDW challenge is to "write out your unique angle."
It is composed of these 4 main questions:
1) Who are you?
2) Why should people listen?
3) What are you passionate about?
4) What will you do for people?
β
If I was to go down that list and answer as it relates to the TriumFit Challenge I would say:
1) I am a health enthusiast, who is curious about where the physical limits of my being are, and what pushing those limits does to me as a person. How does my body transform when I sign up for an Ironman triathalon? What about training for a Sub5 minute mile? What about learning how to do handstands? Or take up Brazilian Jujitsu in my 30's? I am a "human health experiment," in other words...
2) People should listen because by seeing my fitness journey they can take inspiration from that path and chart their own course moving forward. They should listen because we all have an inner voice in our head that can either propel us to greatness or self sabotage and second guess our decisions. I want to help people choose the former voice via a community of accountability in doing physical tasks.
3) I am passionate about broadening my horizons. I have been largely tinkering away at my own self imposed limits for years now, but I am ready to bring as many people along the ride with me now. That is why I created TriumFit. I want to bring the fitness and philanthropy worlds together. Give real meaning to the muscles we build, not only for aesthetics but for altruism.
4) What I will do is create an online community/platform of individuals who look to the calendar and have actual events to look forward to training for. I have always been motivated by a specific race date, competition, or physical challenge. I want to create events that spark both excitement (and maybe a little fear...) in the TriumFit Community (everyone reading this) to push their limits because then YOU will grow as a person because of that challenge.
β
So yea, that is my angle here with TFC. Getting people healthy, ultimately because when we take accountability for OURSELVES, we can better serve OTHERS. And it is a lot easier to get healthy along side a platform of like minded individuals with actual events to look forward to!
