βTriumFit Transparencyβ where we talk progress and problems:
β
Tylerβs progress towards his 2025 TriumFit growth goals:
A) 8 of 100 challenge sign ups (up 3 since last newsletter)
B) 74 of 1,000 newsletter subscribers (up 1 since last newsletter)
β
Tyler's problems to overcome:
A) My selfie stick broke last week. A tear was shed. But thanks to Amazon, I will survive.
B) There was a little glitch on the mobile view of my email capture for the 2025 TriumFit Event Calendar. Thankfully Allie noticed and I fixed it.
PSA: if you ever find a "broken" link or something odd in the TriumFit Universe, PLEASE tell me. I am trying to make the user interface and experience as straight forward as I can.
E.g. Justin Wade told me he was confused if my training plans were somehow tied to the challenges. Like, did he have to film himself doing them? So I edited the bottom of the newsletter for clarity.
Those tips are GOLD for me as a solopreneur. I can't see my own blindspots of what makes sense for the user if I have no feedback to play with.

In this episode we have...
1) Matt - he is an awesome dude I have known since ~January this year when I joined the F3 crew in Point Defiance. F3 is a men's fitness movement where you train in horrid conditions outdoors, because it's hard. Right up my alley tbh. Props Matt on the strength work!
2) Easton - he got a Century ride in on Zwift. I never did Zwift, but I have done a few Century rides in my life. My ass is forever thankful I gave that sport up...
3) Andreas - she got some lucky St. Patty's day miles in, I dig the outfits!
4) Seumas - I selected this because it says "ghouls and goblins." Yo, I have never had a ghoul pace me on a run, but honestly, I am not opposed to the idea..
5) Ryan - well his hands HAVE officially left the chat. They have seen better days. Funny it wasn't Sabrina featured AGAIN, someone always be losing hand skin these days on my Strava, what is up!?!
6) Justin - he tackled the LA Marathon! That was EXACTLY my pace in my first marathon too (untrained of course because I'm a bloody idiot). Way back in 2017. Ohh what a young dumb lad I was. Anyway, PROPS JUSTIN! LA changed the course this year, wonder how that affected everyone.

"The People's Poll" TriumFit's random queries to the community:
β
This segment was inspired by a previous project of mine: "Tyler Talks to Strangers," where I would interview random people on the street. Fun times. But my curiosity is endless, so now I get to query YOU!
β
This weeks poll was...
Would you rather be PERMANENTLY transported 500 years into the future, or 500 years into the past?
β
β
WOW. That was a close one. Interesting to see the results.
Most of my white friends selected the past, while most of my black friends said the future...
I'm over here "mixed" race, and I can't decide. I think the future if you had a gun to my head. I am more interested in where humanity is going as a species. Will we truly become inter-planetary??
I am a HUGE Interstellar-head (shoutout my boy Derice), so the idea fascinates me.

"Tyler's TriumFit Tuesday Tip" where I share some wisdom:

19. Your body is the most dialed in machine if you keep the engine going. Push you limits. Surprise yourself.

"Clear the Calendar" where we look forward to the next challenge:
β
The next challenge is "Bringer of the Bells," TriumFit's Cesar Chavez Tribute.
Last year I walked 106 lbs of kettlebells all of 2.8 miles. It was epic. It was fun. It hurt. It was sunny skies. It was all the things I love. This one was special because some of the "Meaningful Conversations" group in Tacoma came out to support. One of the first times I was like hmmmm, maybe more people could be in to this type of thing...
β
The window to complete it this challenge is March 24th through April 7th.
βHere is the Facebook group to confirm attendance! (optional)β
I will be committing to do the "Bringer of the Bells" on Sunday March 30th proper, at ~2:30 pm. If you are in the Seattle-Tacoma area, make the trek out! We can get beers after and talk about life. I did it at the Chambers Bay Labyrinth last year, and it was perfect! I am doing it again there this year.
